Guest Spotlight: Miss Kitty, Imperial Tea Hostess

Miss Kitty Imperial Tea HostessThis fantastic woman is lost in time, jumping dimensional rift to rift. She is a fountain of knowledge, not only of the historical, but specifically of the precise and temperamental ways in which people conducted themselves in the Victorian era. Her travels have led her through the multiple medieval or renaissance festivals that spring up around the country. A few times she has found herself during the civil war, either the one in the Americas or elsewhere. She has taken the guise of gypsy, singing wench, pirate, Mrs. Claus, and even Queen. Her singing group The Three Graces has set the festival stage on fire, unfortunately sometimes literally. She does not just organize tantalizing tea parties, but also pirate carousing, and gothic nightlife. The Hostess with the mostess has had the pleasure of serving tea to the likes of Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain, and Attila the Hun. During her time in each dimension she hosts an exquisite gathering of amazing people so that she can educate the masses on proper manners, entertain them with magnificent musicians or authors, provide tasty refreshments, and the pleasure of interacting with the who's who of that reality. Her delightful tea parties have been held during several events across New England including TempleCon, Dr Grymm's Steampunk Bizarre, WaterFire Providence, Steampunk World's Fair, Mark Twain House and Museum, and a score of others. Once you are in the presence of Miss Kitty during her tea party or not, you are guaranteed to be entertained, dazzled, and to the brim with interesting conversation, from the academic to the whimsical.
