Frenchy and the Punk

Euro-American Duo Frenchy and the Punk joyfully blends foot-stompin' folk, cabaret, world music, French chanson, and 80's punk, with steampunk flair, vaudeville charm, pixie spirit, and a sophisticated grace like few bands can.  Their live show fuses raucous live guitar looping, cheeky ballads sung in English and French, danceable old-world inspired melodies and thunderous tribal-march-style drum instrumentals.  2011 was another full year of touring across the US and Europe for these two road warriors and they were honored with Yahoo Music's listing of the duo's French-born singer as one of "25 Women To Watch In Music."  In 2012 they release their fifth full length CD and continue their extensive touring schedule.  Their music has been played on WeTV, the Travel Channel, MTV and Oprah and most recently their live performance at the Steampunk Art Opening on the reality show NY INK airs on TLC in late January.  Visit them at the website www.frenchyandthepunk.com.
